Big Brad on 1 Bloor

Sorry, I know you must be sick of hearing about this project already, but I came across something that I'm not sure how I missed previously, but anyway, here it is and hopefully they don't take it off the air anytime soon!

http://www.thestar.com/Article/276342

It's an article in the Toronto Star by Joanna Smith that also has a video clipping of some Toronto Real Estate heavy weights including our Toronto Real Estate Board President, Maureen O'Neill and Mr. Big City Broker, Brad J. Lamb himself.  Of course Ms. O'Neill is always looking out for our dear TREB in everything she says, so it's always going to be sunny clear blue skies painted for the Toronto Real Estate Market on that front.

Ah, but our very outspoken condo guru, BJL, in all his glory shedded some much needed light on the big hype with his signature in-your-face style,  "there are people who are going to be buying 500 sqft apartments for $450,000... they have to.. or they need to get a head exam... really, that's just nonsense.  Where do they think that's going to go from $450,000 for a 500 sqft one bedroom to $600,000?  It's not going to happen."

I love it!  I mean, that's not to say that he's right, but someone had to say it... and who else better than Toronto's Big Bald Real Estate Buddha?

I couldn't agree more. That building seems to be all hype and no substance. We'll have to wait and see how the market plays it but I wouldn't put my money into it.
