Of Course, I'm in a Course!
If you're wondering where I've been, I'm taking another course - Mortgage Financing. Quite interesting some of the stuff I'm learning (which I will share later), so I'm quite pleased with the course thus far... except for the fact that it's all the way in Oakville.
Actually, I wanted to make an observation about my commute there in the morning and on the way back. I honestly can't fully comprehend WHY the traffic is almost as bad as it is going out of the city in the morning as it is coming in? Oh and WHY is the traffic coming in to the city almost worse than it is going out now too? I'm assuming more and more people are moving downtown to enjoy the city life, but is that really what it is?
I remember reading an article somewhere about reverse traffic problems but I forgot where and when I read it. They say its a signal that the downtown market is doing well as people are making moves for lifestyle reasons. Regardless, it still baffles me.
Oh and another thing... I'm the only downtown agent in my class of 30 or so. Boy, it's as if downtown is like another world or something because our markets are so different from what I've been hearing. All their jaws dropped when I talked about some of the multiple offers we have to do down here as they've never yet done one ever. Not that I'm complaining or anything, but they made it seem as if I work in a shark tank... and upon further thought, I think I might just have to agree.
Do what it takes... that's the name of the game.

Glad you're feeling better. Your emoticon at the end of your benefits blog made me laugh... and feel a bit sad for you. Get a Sugar person to take care of these things for you. It probably wouldn't be so bad if they chauffeured you around either (I hate traffic of any sort).
I don't know what the market is like outside of Toronto, but my wife and i are scared that if we move out, we'll never be able to move back in. Kind of like your parents' house.
